Some facts about the trail to Trolltunga
Trolltunga is a spectacular rock formation in Vestland county of Norway. It's a wonderful hike, but it's also challenging – mainly due to its length. Note that this bus takes you from Odda to the trailheads of Trolltunga, not Trolltunga itself.
- From the main trailhead, Skjeggedal, the round-trip to Trolltunga is 27 kilometers (16,78 miles) with an ascent of roughly 800 meters (0,5 miles).
- Be sure to pack warm clothes and enough food and drink for a whole day in the mountain.
- When you plan your trip you should set aside at least two days, in case of a change of weather.
- It's recommended to use a tour guide even if you are used to hiking.

Ready to embark on Trolltunga? Booking with Trolltunga Shuttle is quick and easy. Click the button below to book your trip from either Odda or Tyssedal, to Skjeggedal – the main trailhead of Trolltunga. If you order a round trip we'll bring you back to Odda after your hike. While it is possible to buy tickets upon boarding, the buses have a limited number of seats – so we strongly recommend you order online, well in advance of your trip. Scheduled routes without any bookings may be cancelled.
